Alexander Booth (1976, USA) lives and works in Rome. He studied at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and the University of Maryland (Master of Fine Arts), and concentrated his efforts in the Modern American Poetry of ‘900 and in creative writing.  Since 1999, he has taught English language at several universities and institutions in the United States, Germany and Italy. He cultivates a great passion for poetry and literature, and has published his own poems in both Italian and American magazines since 2005.  He also translates Italian and German poems, especially works by Sandro Penna, and publishes them on literary magazines.
