Acrobatics

According to the best circus tradition, Alfredo Colombaioni has performed acrobatic evolutions since he was a child. He taught acrobatics and comic mime at Eugenio Barba School together with Grotowski. He put on stage “Storia di un soldato” by Dario Fo, “I pagliacci” by Zeffirelli, “ Patapumfete” by Dario Fo. He acted in lots of popular films by Federico Fellini, such as “I clowns”, “Amarcord”, “Casanova”, “La Nave”, and also worked together with Mario Monicelli. He was a stuntman in plenty of films and interpreted several comic characters in lots of cinema movies. He is the author of a RAI programme and operates in Japan, Spain, France, United States, Belgium and Denmark. He effected tours all over the world, such as Golden Circus (ITALY), Colombaioni Circus (ITALY), Orfei Circus (ITALY), Togni Circus (ITALY), Althoff Circus (GERMANY), Sarrasani Circus (Germany), Roncalli Circus (GERMANY), Conelli Circus (Switzerland), Big Apple Circus (USA).
He acted in plenty of Italian cultural institutions situated abroad, such as in Brazil, New York, Berlin, Stockholm, Helsinki, Nairobi, Algiers, Libya and so on.
He teaches clown techniques both in Italy and abroad: “Silvio D’Amico” Academy of Dramatic Art, Laboratory of scenic exercises by Gigi Proietti, Academy of Dramatic Art Belgrade and further schools of theatre abroad. He produces shows by Dario Fo abroad. He manages the International School of Circus of Willy Colombaioni. He published the book “Le farse di tradizione dei Fratelli Colombaioni”, DEL GRIFO.
