Theatre Biomechanics

He took a diploma at the Laboratory managed by Luigi Proietti under the supervision of skilled teachers, such as Luigi Proietti, Ingrid Thulin, Rossella Falk, Alvaro Piccardi, Sandro Merli, Annabella Cerliani, Leda Lojodice and many more.
He took a degree presenting a thesis called Mejerchol’d’s Theatre Biomechanics and its recent developments at  Moscow’s GITIS  and, thanks to a competition announcement issued by the Russian Federation, he specialized at the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Moscow (GITIS) under the supervision of skilled teachers, such as Piotr Fomienko, Sergei Ginovach,  Natasha Svereva, Gennadi Bogdanov, Nikolai Karpov and many more. He studied pedagogy at the European School for the Actor’s Art under the supervision of skilled teachers, such as Svetlana Kutsnekova and Nikolai Karpov, who chose him as his assistant. He studied direction with Eimuntas Nekrosius at the Biennial Atelier and also studied with Mario Martone. He also studied the techniques of Jertzy Grotowsky with Marek Musiak and dramaturgy with Dario Fo, Aldo Nikolaj and Giuseppe Manfridi. He studied for 5 years with Dominic De Fazio, a life member of New York’s Actor Studio. He taught Commedia dell’Arte together with Antonio Fava and worked in several universities and theatre schools both in Italy and abroad. He wrote plenty of essays on Biomechanics which were published by Bulzoni.
He worked as an actor and director both in Italy and abroad (Festival Teatral Tres Continentes, Festival of Art of Bangkok, in France and Egypt). In 2001, the Programme Culture 2000 financed by the European Union selected one of his Projects, Fool, and also promoted an European tour of the show Corsia N.6 by Anton Cechov. He managed the Theatre and Company la Palestra dell’Attore. He worked as a theatre, cinema and TV actor both in Italy and abroad, and was directed by popular producers, such as: Nekrosius, Fomenko (in Russian language), Zeffirelli, Missiroli, Piccardi, Fenoglio, Proietti, Scaparro, Alighiero, Gregoretti, Maccarinelli, Ghione, Navello, Coltorti, Marafante, Corboy (in English language), Mendo (in Spanish language).
