Three-year Acting Course The Acting Course is aimed at giving those interested in making a professional career in the world of theatre and cinema utmost artistic knowledge and excellent technical abilities. The students of the school of cinema in Rome study diction, voice, singing, scenic movement and further important subjects. The teaching programme and the acting lessons in Rome draw inspiration from the most important theatre techniques of 1900 and from contemporary theatre. Classrooms gather a maximum of 20 students to give every single person the possibility to enjoy utmost assistance. During the second and third year targeted work experiences put students in contact with the most important contemporary professionals. Apart from traditional subjects, the students of the acting courses in Rome will have the opportunity to enjoy: Extracurricular work experiences and laboratories with guest teachers, Work experiences in professional productions (starting from the second year) together with acclaimed actors. Attendance is mandatory from Monday to Friday (sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays too) for about 8 hours a day. The Academic Year starts in October-November and finishes in July. Admission is subject to the candidates satisfying the eligibility norms fixed by the school. It is possible to take part in the admission test through the relevant competition announcements which are regularly published in the proper competition announcements section.
